With an extremely limited budget ($1200!), we designed an initial brand and multiple give-aways for the Minnesota STEM Network's state fair event. In addition to a bookmark/ruler give-away, the items included t-shirts, banners, posters, a flyer, and a temporary tattoo. Although the “look-and-feel” was considered to fill an interim need, the possibility is strong that this will flourish as their brand. With the use of the type treatment, many other applications of the brand can be developed to further market this important STEM network and field of learning.
Remember, projects yield success when there is a willingness to cultivate innovation.
